Cannabis Clones for Sale in Arizona

Arizona voters approved recreational cannabis legalization in November 2020 through Proposition 207, the Smart and Safe Arizona Act — on the state's second attempt, after a similar 2016 measure narrowly failed. Recreational sales launched just two months later, in January 2021, and the market has grown into one of the fastest-expanding in the country.

Is It Legal to Grow Cannabis Clones in Arizona?

Yes. Adults 21 and older may legally cultivate up to 6 plants per person, with a household maximum of 12 plants when two or more adults 21+ live there. Unlike Arizona's older medical program, which restricted home cultivation to patients living more than 25 miles from a licensed dispensary, Proposition 207 removed that distance restriction entirely for recreational growers — any adult can grow, regardless of how close they live to a dispensary.

Plants must be grown in an enclosed, locked space that isn't visible to the public. Growing even one plant over the legal limit is treated as a Class 6 felony in Arizona, so it's worth tracking your count carefully, especially in a shared household.

This page is for informational purposes only and is not legal advice. Cannabis laws change, and enforcement can vary. Please confirm current rules with the Arizona Department of Health Services before growing.

Growing Cannabis in Arizona

Arizona's intense summer heat is the biggest factor to plan around — temperatures above 100°F can stress plants and even degrade harvested product if stored improperly, so indoor climate control matters more here than in milder states. Arizona's low humidity is actually an advantage for mold prevention, but plants still need consistent watering given the dry desert air, especially during peak summer months. Given the 6-plant personal allowance, many Arizona growers favor heat-tolerant genetics bred to handle the state's extreme summer conditions.

Cities We Ship Cannabis Clones To In Arizona

Phoenix

Phoenix's intense summer heat means shade cloth, extra irrigation, or an indoor setup are essential for keeping clones healthy through the hottest months. We ship clones to Phoenix-area growers.

Tucson

Tucson shares the low desert's heat, though slightly milder than Phoenix, with drip irrigation strongly recommended to keep up with water demand. We ship clones to Tucson-area growers.

Mesa

Mesa growers face the same Phoenix-metro heat considerations, making shade and consistent watering key during peak summer. We ship clones to Mesa-area growers.

Chandler

Chandler's climate mirrors the greater Phoenix area, with hot, dry summers that call for heat-tolerant strains or a shift to indoor growing. We ship clones to Chandler-area growers.

Scottsdale

Scottsdale shares the Valley's intense desert heat, and outdoor growers here typically rely on shade cloth and irrigation systems to get through summer. We ship clones to Scottsdale-area growers.

Flagstaff

Flagstaff's higher elevation brings cooler temperatures and a shorter growing season than the rest of the state, with earlier frost risk to plan around. We ship clones to Flagstaff-area growers.

Tempe

Tempe falls within the Phoenix metro's hot desert climate, where afternoon shade and reliable irrigation make a big difference for outdoor clones. We ship clones to Tempe-area growers.

Yuma

Yuma is one of the hottest and driest parts of the state, making indoor or heavily shaded outdoor setups the most practical choice for much of the year. We ship clones to Yuma-area growers.
